If a=√6+√5 then find the value of (a^6-1)/a^3.

Given that,a=√6+√5

        

      ∴ 1 =1

        a  √6+√5

          =1(√6-√5)

                             (√6+√5)(√6-√5)

    [Multiplying numerator and denominator by (√6-√5) ]

                       =√6-√5

                         (√6)²-(√5)²

                     =√6-√5

                        6-5

                     =√6-√5

     

Now, a⁶-1 =a⁶  -  1

            a³     a³   a³   

               =a³- 1/a³

               =(a-1/a)³+3.a.1/a(a-1/a) 

               =(√6+√5 - √6+√5)³+3(√6+√5 - √6+√5)

     =(2√5) +3.2√5

     =8.5√5 +6√5

      =40√5+6√5

       

       =46√5 (ans)
